This moisture is a great blessing to the beautiful stands of wheat that all of the area farmers had this fall.  The cows are uncomfortable on the ice, but the snow yesterday actually helped them get around.  Those of us with cattle are working at it, but if you are lucky enough to just farm---well, then you can sit back and enjoy all of the wonderful rain, ice, and snow that we had had and think about how nice the grass and crops will be in the spring.  Here are a few photos of the last month.  The guys from Lane-Scott Electric are my heroes.  We were without power for nine days, and when they arrived to fix our power poles, we were sure relieved.  Actually, it made me realize how spoiled we are!  We should always try to count our blessings---right?!?!                                                    1.21.07
