Whimmydiddle

The Whimmydiddle Arts and Crafts Fair comes to Scott City Park on the last Saturday in September. The annual craft event is named after a wooden toy, the whimmydiddle (Read about it: The Whimmydiddle). A gala event held in the open air of Scott City Park, with over 200 exhibitors from across the United States, the Whimmydiddle crafters and artists arrive with original art, metal working, pottery, crafts in wood, fabric, jewelery, silk and dried flowers. A variety of tempting food concessions entice visitors to eat and take somethink yummy home. This is one of the largest craft shows in Western Kansas; an event not to be missed! Applications for booth space are mailed out in early June each year. The hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in City Park in Scott City, Kansas. Admission is free. A Very Good Thing! Thank you to the Alpha Omega Sorority for making the Whimmydiddle happen.
