The Alliance Breadbasket is in need of all food items. The pantry is always in need of replenishing!
If you have any old bicycles that need to be fixed, call Conrad Kough at 874.0145 or 872.3230. This project will take the bicycles to the Ellsworth Correctional Facility where they will be worked on and then returned to Scott City to give to kids who need bikes. This project is sponsored by the Scott County Conservation District and the Santa Fe Trail RC&D.
Donations to the Jerry Thomas Gallery and Collection, plus many other worthy community projects may be made through the Scott Community Foundation. A scholarship for Golden Rule Preschool is another great idea. There are families with small children sho need help in sending their little ones to preschool. Contact the Methodist Church at 872.2401.
